ometime ago, Alessandra met with Leye Adenle, the author of the award-winning crime novel – ‘Easy Motion Tourist’ – for a spotlite exclusive interview.

Leye is a British based Nigerian author, whose debut novel – ‘Easy Motion Tourist’ – was described by The Guardian as “Fast and Furious”, while its sequel – ‘When Trouble Sleeps’ – was described as “Spectacular” by Lee Child.

Given such reviews, it was little surprise that Alessandra, after reading both books, was determined to meet and interview the man behind the thrillers.

While the interview was initially meant to be about the Amaka thrillers, it turned out to include a discussion about the state of affairs in Leye’s home country of Nigeria – including the link between Nigeria’s borrowed religions and its most pressing issues.

This interview is made up of 8 short segments, all of which are now available online. So don’t forget to visit the channel for the remaining interview segments.
